Amrita Rao raving about Barjatya role

She's the pretty girl-next-door, and we've seen Amrita Rao essay exactly that in most of her films till now. But very soon we'll see the gal transform into a quintessential Indian lady.

The reason is simple — she's doing a Sooraj Barjatya film, after all; and every bit of Indianess that could be there, is packaged into a Barjatya heroine.

Seconding that, Amrita says, "The Barjatyas portray their heroines in the most ideal way any girl can be showcased in a film. I have tremendous respect for directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rajkumar Santoshi, Barjatya, Subhash Ghai and Indra Kumar who have given actresses their due in an industry that is otherwise famously known as the 'man's world'."

Now that sounds unlike the softie Amrita we know. Way to go, babe!
