Sooraj, Shahid, Amrita get emotional

Rajshri Productions Pvt Ltd, protagonists of the Indian culture across the globe, with unforgettable movies like MAINE PYAR KIYA and HUM AAPKE HAIN KAUN, is now set to recreate its magic with their next film VIVAH scheduled for an early November release.

The last day of VIVAH shoot at Lonavla was the most touching moment for the cast, crew and the stars of the Rajshri venture. An emotional Sooraj Barjatya thanked his complete team for making the film possible. And what he stated about Amrita Rao is very interesting... "The character Poonam shared the most subtle emotions of my being. And thank you, Amrita for caring, nurturing and giving the emotions such a tender shape. You have been our source of energy." The maker lauded Shahid Kapur's knowledge of cinema too. "If I had a script ready right now, I would make another movie with you Shahid," said Sooraj Barjatya. "Your mind and body language and the way you carry yourself will take you places."

The stars were visibly touched too. While Shahid thanked everyone "For putting up with my pranks and tantrums,". Amrita sang "Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha Pyar Ke Kaabil Mujhe..." one of Sooraj Barjatya's favourite songs. And listening to her voice, we think it is time this talented considered playback as seriously as her acting career!

VIVAH is a classic musical love story that traces the relationship of the couple Shahid Kapur and Amrita Rao from engagement to marriage. A film with beautiful moments, VIVAH promises to recreate the magic of MAINE PYAR KIYA.

VIVAH is produced by Kamal Kumar Barjatya, Rajkumar Barjatya and Ajit Kumar Barjatya, story-screenplay-direction: Sooraj R Barjatya, lyrics and music: Ravindra Jain, Associate Producers: Sooraj R Barjatya, Rajjat A Barjatya. The film has Shahid Kapur and Amrita Rao with Anupam Kher, Alok Nath, Seema Biswas, Samir Soni, Lata Sabharwal, Manoj Joshi, Amrita Prakash among others.
